Perhaps not all on the water

Turns out, many of the 8- and 12-hour teams that started at the Canoe drop on the east side were actually just portaging their canoes down to the water, not actually putting-in. Instead, they would then go out to do the orienteering section, so as to avoid having to come back in to the canoe drop and then back out afterward. Smart!
